Performance code: audio is directed to a locally run web browser using webAudio API and the getUserMedia API . Random circles are displayed as noise across the image. Upon the input of sound, the distribution trends towards either the waveform of the audio, or a second randomized cluster. Concentric circles are created using MIDI signals sent to the web browser. As each note is held, the circles expand. Using HTML5 canvas, the refresh rate is dampened to create gradual trails as the noise wears off revealing cityscapes from within the black background.

Installation code:
audio is directed to a second machine connected to a room microphone. Trees are revealed from the black background upon noises made by visitors such as clapping hands, laughter or any audio passively received from the performance itself.
